The Anthony Picarello Foundation will begin accepting donations on behalf of loved ones. The death of a loved one can be very emotional, and confusing. When a family has to pick an organization to donate to, please consider the Anthony Picarello Foundation dedicated to assisting families waiting for an organ or tissue transplant.
The Anthony Picarello Foundation was established in 2000 as a nonprofit organization dedicated to the prevention and treatment of liver disease and awareness of organ and tissue transplantation through research and education. APF is associated with the New England Organ Bank and the American Liver Foundation.
Recently, APF developed the “Peace of Mind Fund” to help families who may need financial assistance while waiting for a life saving transplant. This fund is the first of its kind and its intention is to help many families in the future.
